Sephora Collection Dark Rainbow Pro Flawless Airbrush Brush 56

My favorite foundation brush – the Sephora Collection Pro Flawless Airbrush Brush #56 – Review of the Limited Edition Dark Rainbow Version

I got the mini version of the Sephora Collection Pro Flawless Airbrush Brush #56 (it is called the #56.5 brush) this summer when I became a VIB Rouge member.

I was really disappointed that they were giving out a tiny little brush to customers for dropping $1000 in a year. Anyway, I decided to use this to blend in my concealer (my beloved NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer), and I WAS BLOWN AWAY, YOU GUYS.

Sephora Collection Puff & Shine Shimmery Body Powder Review and Swatches

The Story

The Sephora Collection Puff & Shine Shimmery Body Powder is part of Sephora’s Holiday 2017 release. It contains 8 g of sparkly body powder for the affordable price of $13.

Now, I have no use for this in all honesty. There’s nowhere I’m going or nothing I wear which will be the perfect reason to pull out this product and puff it all over my being.

I got this, because ages ago, Yves Saint Laurent released their Baby Doll Perfume, and perfumed body powder to go along with it. I was enamored with that body powder, after I saw it in a magazine, and have since been looking for something similar to it. Enter the Sephora Collection Puff & Shine Shimmery Body Powder.

Says Sephora:

What it is:
A loose, shimmery powder for body, face, and hair.

What it does:
This shimmering loose powder with subtle color is perfect for lighting up features. With a super-soft brush, it’s easy to apply to the body, face, and hair for a light sparkle that amps up any look for the holidays.

This set contains:
– 0.28 oz/ 8 g Loose powder

$13 for 8 g is a good price.

The Sephora Collection Outrageous Effect Volume Lip Gloss is a plumping lip gloss available in 4 shades. The website says:

What it is:
A high-shine gloss that makes lips look fuller and plumper upon application.

What does:
Enriched with sunflower seed oil, ginger root oil, and peppermint oil, this high-shine lip gloss hydrates and plumps lips upon application.

You get 5 ml for $12

Does it really work?

YES!!! Now, listen. I hate lip glosses. And I have never really used a plumper because I always believed they were useless. But this baby was for $12 and had great reviews on so I thought, why not?

The reviews said shade 01 made everyone’s lips darker so I decided to go with 02 instead, which is supposed to be a nude shade.

The shade itself is kind of a milky nude and on my lips it looks very sheer, but can still be pulled off with a natural or smokey look.

The gloss itself feels a bit cool when applied, not painfully tingly at all, and nothing uncomfortable. It takes a while to work, around 10 – 20 minutes to fully show its effects, and trust me, it makes my thin lips look significantly bigger. I normally do a bit of a duck face in pictures, but with this, it is unnecessary. 🦆

This gloss can be kept on, but I usually wipe it off after a while, and my lips stay soft and smooth and plump. I believe pillowy is the word I’m looking for.

The best part about this is that it makes my liquid lipsticks glide over my lips with such ease. They do not flake, they don’t dry up my lips, and my lip lines don’t show nearly as much with the Sephora Collection Outrageous Volume Lip Gloss used underneath as a base.

My lipsticks also stay on longer if I use this prior to application. Even with meals, they rarely come off! Even more, this effect lasts from application of the lip gloss to the end of the day!

I really wanted to try taking a before and after picture of my lips but my shots were really crappy. Follow me on my Instagram where I might just be able to post a clear shot which shows the difference with and without this product.

The packaging is beautiful and it looks and feels like a $20 product instead of a $12 one.

I don’t like…

…the fact that it is a bit sticky. This is why I don’t keep it on for long, but luckily it has worked its lasting magic before I wipe it off after around 20 minutes.

There’s a bit of a smell but it doesn’t bother me, really. It is almost minty/pepperminty. (?!)

I use the applicator to swipe it on, wait about 20 minutes, and wipe it off with a tissue. If you like glosses you can def keep it on.

Do I recommend this?

YES! If it can work for my lips, it can work for yours! I will get shade 01 next as 02 is a bit too light for me.
